Weightlifting is a great sport and its popularity in the community is growing. Recently our coach Pip Malone became the 69kg national weightlifting champion in Australia and has her eyes set on the 2018 Commonwealth games (well done Pip!).
In celebration of this event, we decided it was time to start our own weightlifting club. With Pip being at the helm of our weightlifting club you know you’re in safe hands. Pip’s knowledge and experience are second to none. She loves all things weightlifting and would love to help you.
Your second coach is Darren Coughlan. Not only is he Pips coach but he has many other professional athletes who seek out his knowledge in the field of strength and conditioning.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a skilled weightlifter or a complete newbie to weightlifting. Our staff at CFN and Musashi weightlifting will make sure you’re lifting correctly and safely.
Our club runs in 8-week cycles. So if you miss the start date you can’t join halfway through. This is to ensure maximum commitment and dedication to your training.
