Coaching philosophy
Get your form right first and then the rest will come – strength, speed and power. We all have things we aren’t good at but if you persevere with form, you’ll improve.
Why CrossFit?
The group training at CrossFit is really motivating because you work out with people who train hard but also have fun. CrossFit takes all sizes; there is no need to think you are too unfit, big, small or tall to try it out. You should have started yesterday!
CrossFit has taught me to finally put away the scales and since doing that I have dropped at least two dress sizes and feel the best I have ever felt. I thought I would never do pull-ups but I can do at least 15 in a row now. That’s what I love; there’s nothing at CrossFit that women can’t do. You’ll be out of your comfort zone but it’s within the most supportive environment there is. I love seeing the expression on women’s faces when they’ve just lifted a weight they thought they would never lift.
